This 10-month project involved youth workers, young people, and partner organizations from nine European countries in a multi-phase process combining training, international youth exchanges, and local community actions. The initiative aimed to use sustainable development and environmental protection as tools to foster youth inclusion, especially for young people with fewer opportunities.

A training course in Italy introduced key themes: gardening and nutrition, renewable energy, environmental education, sustainable construction, which were further explored during youth exchanges in Germany and Serbia. Each exchange involved practical workshops adapted to the local context, and was followed by youth-led community actions. A preliminary needs analysis ensured relevance and participation.

The project engaged 92 people and promoted shared standards in youth work, intercultural awareness, and grassroots activism. Using the non-formal ORA methodology (Observe, Rethink, Act), the experience emphasized learning by doing, peer education and local empowerment.

As the final result, the participants produced a handbook documenting the methods, tools, and practices developed throughout the project. It serves as a resource to inspire other organizations in building inclusive and sustainable youth communities across Europe.
