The project, granted by the Youth in Action Programme of the European Commission, brought together 26 participants from 13 European countries, including youth workers, NGO leaders, educators, and environmental experts. The main objective was to explore how green areas—such as parks, reserves, and protected landscapes, can serve as effective tools to foster youth inclusion, particularly for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Participants shared local experiences through case studies, exchanged non-formal education methods, and engaged in collaborative reflection using the ORA methodology: Observe, Rethink, Act. This approach encourages young people to become active citizens through environmental engagement and sustainable development practices.

As the outcome of the seminar, the participants produced the ORA Handbook, a structured collection of case studies, methodologies, and reflections grouped into four chapters: Environmental Education, Non-Formal Education, Campaigns, Community Development. The handbook is designed to inspire and support other youth-focused organizations across Europe.
